Writer's Block: Pecking Order

I'm the oldest of two kids and yes, it influenced my personality.
I grew up being told to be mature and act like a grown up in front of my sister who acted like a baby way beyond reasonable years (crying to get stuff at 11?). That made me maybe too reasonable. I never act on impulse because I cannot be lectured, I cannot do anything wrong because I'm the oldest, more mature one. I have to behave and not cause any troubles because they always had an armful with my sister. We're two years apart so of course it meant two young kids at the same time, forcing one of the two to act beyond her age.
I'm not resentful though, because I look at how I am and how my sister is and I prefer what I am. She's a moody, selfish, egocentric and egoist brat. I like to believe I'm not. Don't get me wrong, I still love her a lot, she's just not the kind of person I'd go to if she were not my sister.
