You know sometimes when a song really affects you and makes you think and just ~stays with you for a long time?
Yeah it's that song for me.
Also partly Lindsay's fault for that epic fic she wrote. :)

But the line "You're just jealous 'cause we're young and in love" just really really kinda hit me full in the face and will stay with me for a long time. <3

It's the same for me. That sentence really struck me.
And "I'm gonna stay eighteen forever" too, since that's my age now. And the fic she wrote around it *swoons*.

I can't get tired of listening to it. I must have played it 40 times in the last two days yet I'd listen to it again anytime.

We seem to be on exactly the same wavelength here.
I listened to it about 40 times today. Not even exaggerating. On repeat on my ipod, over and over again.
And it was the fic that introduced me to the song, and I am so so glad it was because I will think of that fic every time I listen to the song, which means I'll think of Ryden every time I listen to the song...

and I'm gushing now so I'll stop.
I just love it when you find a song you adore that much and within like an hour of hearing it, it becomes one of your favourite songs ever.

The line "Walk around this city like we own the streets, and stay awake through summer like we own the heat" really affected me too. <3

Yes, exactly! This song makes me think of the fic, and then of Ryden and it's enough to make me happy for the day. I'm pretty sure this song will stick and stay one of my favorites ever. It holds so much meaning that I can relate to.
